Basketball Recap: Otto-Eldred's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Otto-Eldred was riding high fresh off their 51-25 takedown of Port Allegany on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Terrors took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Allegany-Limestone Gators on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Terrors' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the defeat, Otto-Eldred saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Baylee Francis posted 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Rayel Hakes, who put up 13 points and six boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Otto-Eldred fell to 2-1. As for Allegany-Limestone, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Otto-Eldred will take on Austin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Allegany-Limestone, they will face off against Portville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
