Volleyball Recap: Limon Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Chloe Stone and Braelyn Malcom

Limon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Peyton Panthers. The Badgers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-22, 25-14.

Limon's loss came despite strong showings from Braelyn Malcom and Chloe Stone. Malcom had 31 assists and 12 digs, while Stone had 15 digs. Malcom is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Brynlee Ray went supernova For Peyton., getting 26 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Ray has posted since back in August. Kinsey Hall also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Limon's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Peyton, they moved to 8-14 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Limon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Sargent on the 1st. As for Peyton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Evangel Christian Academy on the 1st.
