Football Recap: Stoughton Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Stoughton's offense. They lost 24-0 to the Sauk Prairie Eagles on Friday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Stoughton is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. As for Sauk Prairie, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stoughton is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakeside Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sauk Prairie will square off against rival Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
