Softball Recap: Porter Comes Up Short

Porter was the 3-2 winner over Crosby when they last played one another on March 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Porter's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Crosby, they pushed their record up to 11-9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Porter is set to square off against their familiar foe West Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crosby will challenge rival Splendora at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
