Basketball Recap: Burleson Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

After losing to Everman the last time they met, Burleson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Burleson Elks walked away with a 52-44 win over the Everman Bulldogs on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Elks.

Burleson pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Everman, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Burleson is taking a road trip to challenge Mansfield Timberview at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Mansfield Timberview has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 183 points over their last three matches. As for Everman, they will be home for the holidays to greet Seguin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
