Volleyball Recap: Nogales Takes a Loss

Nogales was the 2-0 winner over Desert Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Apaches took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Friday. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Nogales' loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Desert Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-6.

Nogales will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Buena at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Desert Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sunnyside on the 11th.
