Volleyball Recap: Trion Comes Up Short

Trion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Christian Heritage Lions. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Trion was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Christian Heritage work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-14.

Trion's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Christian Heritage, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-15.

Coincidentally, Trion and Christian Heritage will both be playing Darlington the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
