Volleyball Recap: El Dorado Cougars vs. Escalon Cougars

Pearl Cooney paced El Dorado's offense, picking up eight kills. Cooney got some help from Fatima Talavera and her 11 assists. Stella Dimon controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Leading Escalon to victory were Brynn Caton and Emma Strong. Caton had five digs and four aces, while Strong had 13 digs, 11 kills, and three aces. That's the most aces Strong has posted over her last seven contests.

El Dorado's defeat dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Escalon, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.
