Softball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland managed to slip by Cottonwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 16-1 to the Colts on Tuesday. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Cottonwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will challenge Park City at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cottonwood, they will take on Granger at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
