Volleyball Recap: North Andover Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Andover was the 3-2 winner over Peabody Veterans Memorial when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Scarlet Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tanners on Monday.

North Andover started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-19.

Laila Yacouba-Issa paced North Andover's offense, picking up 20 kills. Yacouba-Issa got some help from Brynn Patenaude and her 37 assists. Yacouba-Issa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

North Andover now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Peabody Veterans Memorial, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, North Andover will welcome Pentucket Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peabody Veterans Memorial, they will venture away from home to challenge Beverly at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
