Volleyball Recap: New Kent Has No Trouble Against York + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only New Kent walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the York Falcons on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-20.

Carina Dolci was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and five aces. Those 11 digs gave her a new career-high.

Dolci wasn't the only good servers: New Kent was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as York only served four.

New Kent's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for York, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

New Kent has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lakeland on the 11th. York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
