Football Game Preview: Curry Yellowjackets vs. Fayette County Tigers + How To Watch

Curry is 0-6 against Fayette County since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Yellowjackets will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Curry has given up an average of 34.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Curry was beaten by Good Hope 48-8. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Raiders are ranked 82nd).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fayette County, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past Cordova 41-7 on Friday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Fayette County's win came from a few key players Curry will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Maurice Harris, who rushed for 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Stowe, who rushed for 96 yards and one score on only ten carries.

Fayette County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 255 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cordova only rushed for 77.

Fayette County's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Curry, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
