Football Recap: Grand View Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clarke last Friday, Grand View Christian came back down to earth. The Thunder were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 7-6 to the Woodward-Granger Hawks. The contest marked the Thunder's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Grand View Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Woodward-Granger, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Grand View Christian will challenge Clarinda on Friday. As for Woodward-Granger, they will square off against Clarke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
