Soccer Game Preview: Solon vs. Cuyahoga Falls

The Solon Comets will be taking part in a tournament against the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Solon is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Last Wednesday, it was close, but Solon sidestepped Wadsworth for a 3-2 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Solon's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Wadsworth are ranked 90th).

Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Falls kept a clean sheet against Springfield last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 7-0 win. That looming 7-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cuyahoga Falls yet this season.

Solon's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their win bumped their record up to 3-11-1.
