Baseball Recap: West Potomac Takes a Loss

West Potomac lost against Alexandria City back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2.

West Potomac saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Barrett Baker, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

West Potomac has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Alexandria City, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. West Potomac will take on rival West Springfield at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Alexandria City is set to face off against their familiar foe Lake Braddock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
