Volleyball Game Preview: Triton Regional Vikings vs. Winthrop Vikings

Triton Regional will take on Winthrop at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Triton Regional came up short against Lynnfield on Friday, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Winthrop came up short against Peabody Veterans Memorial on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Winthrop's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Triton Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Triton Regional took their victory against Winthrop when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will Triton Regional repeat their success, or does Winthrop has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
