Volleyball Recap: Thunder Ridge Takes a Loss

Thunder Ridge came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Rigby Trojans, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost six in a row.

Thunder Ridge's offense was headlined by Jeslynn Furniss and Giulia Johns, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Melanie Dopp and her 14 assists.

Breleigh Youngstrom was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 17 digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 18 times she's played.

Thunder Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Rigby, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Thunder Ridge nor Rigby have any future games scheduled.
