Soccer Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Berea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Greer Yellow Jackets, falling 4-1. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellow Jackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Berea's goal came courtesy of Angel Banegas Lopez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Berea's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Greer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Berea wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Pickens on the 13th. As for Greer, they have also already played their next match, a 7-0 victory against Travelers Rest on the 13th.
