Archbishop Riordan and Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Archbishop Riordan had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

While Archbishop Riordan ultimately came up short, they really made Lincoln work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-15, 26-24, 20-25, 15-11.

Archbishop Riordan's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 35-8 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home.
