Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian lost against York back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trinity Christian Warriors came up short against the York Falcons, falling 68-42. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Gianni Zeljo, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards for York. Zeljo's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Tsuchitani, who posted eight points.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for York, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Trinity Christian has already played their next matchup, a 60-51 defeat against Anzar on the 9th. As for York, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-30 victory against Kirby Prep on the 10th.
