Baseball Recap: Streamwood Find Success

Streamwood won against South Elgin on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Sabres walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Elmwood Park Tigers. This was payback for the Sabres, who suffered a 13-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Streamwood and bumps their season record up to 7-17. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Elmwood Park, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15-1.

Looking ahead, Streamwood will challenge Sycamore at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Elmwood Park, they will face off against Mather at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
