Basketball Recap: Cheraw Piles Up the Points Against Virtus Academy + How To Watch

Cheraw's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They breezed past the Virtus Academy Wolves to the tune of 63-16. The Braves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cheraw found their leader in freshman Kobi McDonald, who went 6-for-9 en route to 14 points in addition to eight steals and five rebounds. With that strong performance, McDonald is now averaging an impressive 3 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Elijah McClain, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Cheraw smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.
