Football Recap: St. Croix Central Takes a Loss

St. Croix Central fell victim to Baldwin-Woodville and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Blackhawks and fell 46-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 30th).

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Croix Central fell to 2-1. As for Baldwin-Woodville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Croix Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Ellsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Baldwin-Woodville will take on rival Amery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
