Basketball Recap: Rocky Mountain Falls to Legend in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Rocky Mountain kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Legend Titans, falling 86-55. The Lobos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Rocky Mountain lost, don't look at Aiden McClelland. Despite the final result, he shot 46% from the field to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds. Mateo Valencia was another key player, putting up ten points.

Tyler Houlberg went supernova For Legend., going 6-for-8 from beyond the arc on his way to 26 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Khalil Hudgins, who shot 89% from the field en route to 17 points.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rocky Mountain will challenge Rancho Solano Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Legend, they will take on Smoky Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
