Mobile Christian came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 57-52 W over the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs. This was payback for the Leopards, who suffered a 60-42 loss the last time these two teams met.

Leading Mobile Christian to victory were Rico Prince and Hakeem Winston. Prince almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards, while Winston went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points in addition to six assists and five boards. Prince continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sema'J Law, who posted nine points.

Mobile Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for UMS-Wright Prep, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Mobile Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-45 loss against Saraland on the 21st. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-49 win against Jackson on the 21st.
