Volleyball Recap: Normandy Comes Up Short

Normandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the University City Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-10.

Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for University City, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Normandy will venture away from home to challenge Confluence Prep Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for University City, they will head out to face off against McCluer at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
