St. Joseph barely beat Elkhorn the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lancers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Elks on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won 13 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was St. Joseph's third in a row) raised their record to 20-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Elkhorn, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Joseph will take on Slinger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkhorn, they will square off against Kenosha Tremper at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
