Basketball Recap: Capital College & Career Academy Drops Season-High Score on Adventure Christian

Capital College & Career Academy is still winless after their contest against Adventure Christian on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Adventure Christian Warriors. One positive for the Ants, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Adventure Christian was led to victory by Jadon Wikoff and William Gleason. Wikoff shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 boards, while Gleason posted eight points and 14 rebounds.

Capital College & Career Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Adventure Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Capital College & Career Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Adventure Christian, they will look to defend their home court on January 31st against Chesterton Academy of Sacramento at 7:30 p.m.
