Jackson Prep waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Florence Eagles by a score of 59-48. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 63-50 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Florence had strong showings from Kayne Ashley, who went 11-for-18 on his way to 23 points along with eight boards and three steals, and Jayden Houseton, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Jackson Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Florence, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Jackson Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-32 win against Tri-County Academy on the 21st. As for Florence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-39 victory against McLaurin on the 22nd.
