Soccer Game Preview: South Plainfield vs. St. Joseph

The South Plainfield Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the St. Joseph Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Plainfield is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

South Plainfield lost 4-1 to Union Catholic last Saturday.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph got the win against Westfield on Saturday by a conclusive 4-1. Given St. Joseph's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Westfield are ranked 45th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for South Plainfield, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1.
