Soccer Recap: Petaluma Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Petaluma Trojans didn't have quite enough to beat the Casa Grande Gauchos and fell 2-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Zane Elie, who's now up to two this season.

Petaluma's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-3. As for Casa Grande, they pushed their record up to 7-5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Petaluma will venture away from home to square off against Napa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Casa Grande, they will welcome Justin-Siena at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Casa Grande's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
