Alba-Golden has gone 7-2 against Como-Pickton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Alba-Golden is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
It was a proper cat-fight when Alba-Golden challenged Big Sandy on Friday. The Panthers walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Wildcats.

Tucker Samples made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Cooper Christian was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Easton Samples, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Como-Pickton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Martins Mill by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 1, 2025.
Like Alba-Golden, Como-Pickton also got a great game from a two-way player: Dane Oud. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Oud has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.
Alba-Golden's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Como-Pickton, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Alba-Golden hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .384. However, it's not like Como-Pickton struggles in that department as they've averaged .343. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Alba-Golden got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Como-Pickton by a conclusive 16-3 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
