Basketball Recap: Norwayne's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Norwayne strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 48-40 win over the Chippewa Chipps. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norwayne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hannah Froelich, who posted eight points and 14 rebounds. Froelich is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ava Maibach was another key player, going 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points along with six assists and six boards.

Norwayne's record is now 4-0. As for Chippewa, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwayne will square off against Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Chippewa, they will take on Elyria Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
