With a playoff win on the line, Penn Cambria rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed past the Huntingdon Bearcats to the tune of 33-6. Considering the Panthers have won nine contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Penn Cambria's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Jones, who threw for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 63 yards. Jones also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending one pass. Blake Lilly was in the mix as well, providing Penn Cambria with two TDs.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Penn Cambria's defense and their three sacks. Matthew Eckenrode refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Penn Cambria got some further help from Corbin Vinglish: he forced one fumble and made 16 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Despite the loss, Huntingdon had strong showings from Landon Erdman, who rushed for 145 yards, and Evan Edmiston, who rushed for 65 yards.

Penn Cambria is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.
