Baseball Game Preview: Marquette Catholic Explorers vs. Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions

The Marquette Catholic Explorers will face off against the Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Marquette Catholic's last matchup with Columbia could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Explorers came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Explorers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Marquette Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Fahnestock, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Christ Our Rock Lutheran didn't have quite enough to beat Neoga on Wednesday and fell 7-5. That's two games in a row now that the Silver Stallions have lost by exactly two runs.

Marquette Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8.
