The Riverbank Bruins took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 76-41 win over the Downey Knights. With that victory, the Bruins brought their scoring average up to 54 points per game.

Leilani Olanolan had another great game (as she tends to do), shooting 6-for-10 from downtown and almost dropping a triple-double with 28 points, nine boards, and nine assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Riverbank's points. Another player making a difference was Isa Fernandez, who shot 63% from the field en route to 16 points and four steals.

Riverbank smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. They are a perfect 3-0 when they hit their own glass that hard.

The win made it two in a row for Riverbank and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.5 points over those games. As for Downey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Riverbank will head out to face off against Ceres at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Downey, they have already played their next matchup, a 60-19 loss against Lathrop on the 4th.
