Softball Recap: Mosley's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Mosley can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past the Rutherford Rams 19-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Dolphins have posted since April 2, 2024.

Sadie Walker made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off seven hits. Walker was even better at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Hannah Record was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Alianne Creamer was another key player, going 2-for-5 with four RBI and two runs.

Mosley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

The win got Mosley back to even at 1-1. As for Rutherford, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mosley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 25-7 victory against Pensacola on the 25th. As for Rutherford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-6 win against Wakulla Christian School on the 25th.
