Volleyball Recap: Powdersville Takes a Loss

Powdersville was the 3-2 winner over Daniel when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Daniel's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lydia Chasteen, who had 13 assists and three digs. That's the most assists Chasteen has posted over her last nine matches.

Powdersville's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Daniel, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Powdersville will welcome Palmetto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Daniel, they will head out on the road to square off against Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
