Football Game Preview: Wheeler County Bulldogs vs. Warren County Screaming Devils + Official Tickets

The Wheeler County Bulldogs will face off against the Warren County Screaming Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wheeler County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Wheeler County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Manchester, posting a 55-20 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wheeler County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alvin Ricks, who rushed for 120 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. Ricks' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Culver, who rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last matchup, Warren County made sure to put some points up on the board against Mitchell County on Friday. The Screaming Devils secured a 36-30 W over the Eagles. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Screaming Devils' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Wheeler County's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Warren County, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
