Volleyball Recap: Hokes Bluff Comes Up Short

Hokes Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Alexandria Valley Cubs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Valley Cubs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 2nd.

Hokes Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Alexandria, they pushed their record up to 29-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hokes Bluff will take on Cherokee County at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alexandria, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Ohatchee on the 23rd.
