South Ripley and Jac-Cen-Del are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2020, but not for long. The South Ripley Raiders will challenge the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Ripley will be strutting in after a win while Jac-Cen-Del will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, South Ripley humbled Rising Sun with an 88-49 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Jac-Cen-Del was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 70-58 to Milan. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Eagles who fell 84-81 when the teams previously met back in February of 2024.

South Ripley's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points over those games. As for Jac-Cen-Del, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Everything came up roses for South Ripley against Jac-Cen-Del when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 72-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Ripley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
