ASHLEY SAMPSELLE put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, SAMPSELLE and Matanzas will welcome Palatka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
