Soccer Recap: Palm Harbor University Falls to Sunlake in First Game of Season

Palm Harbor University had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Sunlake Seahawks by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Palm Harbor University of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Aria Planamenta.

Sunlake's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Palm Harbor University didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Newsome on the 11th. As for Sunlake, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Academy of the Holy Names on the 7th.
