Veritas Prep had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 75-56 victory over the Lincoln Prep Lightning. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Veritas Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Mason, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 17 points and five boards. Miles Perry was another key player, shooting 63% from the field to rack up 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lincoln Prep fell to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Veritas Prep will take on Scottsdale Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday. As for Lincoln Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against San Tan Charter at 7:00 p.m. This will be the Lightning's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
