Basketball Recap: Allen Comes Up Short

Allen suffered their biggest loss since January 25th on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 56-21 loss at the hands of the Vanoss Wolves. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-4.

Despite the loss, Allen still got an impressive performance from Cherish Woodward, who posted six points along with six rebounds and six steals. Woodward has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Vanoss, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Allen has already played their next contest, a 75-32 victory against Asher on the 6th. As for Vanoss, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Earlsboro at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
