Baseball Recap: Ocosta Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Ocosta barely beat Oakville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Acorns on Monday. Eight seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory (which was Ocosta's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Oakville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ocosta will face off against Wahkiakum at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakville, they will take on Quilcene at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
