Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Lutheran Cougars vs. New Albany Bulldogs

The Trinity Lutheran Cougars will take on the New Albany Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Trinity Lutheran lost 3-0 to Floyd Central on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Highlanders: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, New Albany had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15, 25-18.

Trinity Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for New Albany, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.

Everything went Trinity Lutheran's way against New Albany in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Trinity Lutheran made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
