While North Crawford's win against Wauzeka-Steuben wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans won by a run and slipped past the Hornets 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.

North Crawford's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Crawford will welcome De Soto at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Trojans 3.8, the Pirates 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Seneca at 5:00 p.m. The Indians will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
