Soccer Recap: Fryeburg Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sacopee Valley on Thursday, Fryeburg came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Traip Rangers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Fryeburg in their meetings with Traip: they've now lost three in a row.

Fryeburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Traip, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season.

Fryeburg will head out on the road to square off against Gray-New Gloucester at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Traip, they will be playing at home against Freeport at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
