Volleyball Game Preview: Hudsonville Eagles vs. Rockford Rams + How To Watch

The Hudsonville Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Rockford Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hudsonville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Christian, who was ranked tenth at the time (Hudsonville was ranked 12th). Hudsonville took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christian on Saturday. Hudsonville's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hudsonville was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 21 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rockford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Grandville on Thursday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rockford took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-12.

Hudsonville better keep an eye on Anna Dady. She was instrumental in Rockford's win, getting 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Dady has posted over her last nine matchups.

Rockford's win bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Hudsonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.

Hudsonville skirted past Rockford 3-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
